Land registry

Representation and graphical, numerical, literal and statistical description of all properties contained within the national territory

Legal conciliation

Proof of conformity of boundaries and infrastructure of a registered property in a plan with the corresponding inscription in the Public Real Estate Registry.

Document including basic numerical and literal information of each property.

Property

Portion of land that is registered as a legal unit in the Public Registry, or capable of being registered, through a number which identifies it uniquely.

Parcel (of land)

Cadastral unit represented by a portion of land which is a physical unit in itself, and defined by a line that returns to its point of origin without interruption.

Topographical plan

Document that represents only one estate, parcel of land or lot in a graphical, mathematical, literal and legal manner, which complies with standards established in the Regulations of the National Cadastral Law.

Cadastral plan

Surveyed plan which has been registered in the National Land Registry.

Portion made up by one or several adjacent and related parcels of land in a province that belongs to one or several owners or holders.

Surveyor’s log book

Set of documents recording survey and topographic data collected by a legally authorized professional.
